Hermanos Gutierrez played the Foundation stage this date, but had a full set on the Quad stage on the next date.
Natalie Merchant appeared as part of Clusterfolk, doing two songs from her catalog: “Carnival” and “Kind and Generous.” Lukas Nelson did a song as well. Clusterfolk was a multiple act replacement for Bonny Light Horseman and Natalie Merchant who had been planning to perform the album “Mermaid Avenue” in its entirety. However, one of BLH’s members ended up with Covid, so they had to cancel. Craig Finn of the Hold Steady finished the set with all the performers (including Anais Mitchell, Natalie Merchant, Yola, and a member of the band Goose, singing Elvis Costello’s “Peace, Love and Understanding.”
In the Bleachers set, he invited Joy Oladokun, Rick Mitarotonda from Goose, Lucy Dacus, and Clairo each to join for one song.
