Tickets were $7 at the gate (what I paid), $6 in advance per day and $15 for a 3-day pass. The concert took place on a temporary stage built in the middle of the east (home side) grandstand of the San Fernando Valley State College Football Stadium. My brother Lee and I attended, but we arrived too late to see Ike and Tina Turner or Joe Cocker. I did not attend the Saturday or Sunday shows. https://www.latimes.com/archives...
