Not only was I anticipating the return of Nektar, but it was also announced that Pavlovs Dog, an amazing American Prog band, that utilized two mellotrons were opening and supporting. But Pavlovs Dog never showed up, and to this day, I’m really not sure what happened, but needless to say, I was disappointed. I’ve heard different conflicting stories about what happened to PD, I guess I’ll never know. I read that the two mellotrons were used on stage and that they were hot and spooky sounding, which was like salt on a wound for me. Oh well!
