LIVING ON THE EDGE. Since their birth in 2015, the moonstruck three-piece in The Hazytones hailing from Montreal has been kicking some serious ass around the live circuits of their Canadian home turf as well as tweaking the ears outside it's borders - bursting straight outta the traps and catching the attention of a worldwide audience.
Bringing a catchy, hazy as fuck Sabbath-esque tone and Swedish retro-like groove to the table, the three Canadians Martel, Coaster and La Mast together create Heavy Stoner Rock and Garage Doom blended with touches of bluesy Psych, that can be heavy and face melting one minute and laid back and lysergic the next. The band's black acid-drenched shock rock drips with harmonies that harken back to the trippiest of late 60s Psych and its chained-to-the brain hooks bleed with a palpable, eerie energy that surges and swings in equal measure - creating a distinct but not overpowering retro feel for an underground scene dominated by bands looking towards the Hard Rock of the 70s and with their first record easily finding its way onto the playlist of an avid 70s Hard Rock collector. Especially with frontman Martel, supplying scorching guitar soli, fuzz drenched crunching power chords as well as clean, clear and occult-ish vocals, the band creates something totally new yet oddly recognizable. With their new LP 'The Hazytones - II: Monarchs of Oblivion' - released this very month on Ripple Music - the group, whose haunting, hooky sound inbetween has been called "Swedish-style stomp", delivers now dark Psych Metal, overflowing with stark mood, tempo changes and double-tracked vocals that glide over the sinister songs.
Live is where the band really finds its swagger, flinging themselves around the stage and converting new disciples with each and every performance. With full European and North American tours already under their belts, The Hazytones are a developing band on the rise, set to deliver a sweeping salvo with the release of their substantial sophomore LP. We are proud to bring The Hayztones for the first time to Germany!

'The Nekromant Lives' LP (2018): bit.ly/2q2vjO1
THE NEKROMANT LIVES. Being sick & tired of the generous Metal scene, in 2011 Mattias Ottosson and Adam Lundqvist started playing Hard Rock accompanied by a monstrously heavy, blues-laced beat. Although their sessions resulted in both a full album and an EP, it was not until 2013, when they joined forces with hard-hitting drummer Joakim Olsson, and through chaotic gig-weekends becoming a powerful live act and resistant force with solid tracks and a confident, honest and clean, but heavy, gritty and deep sound. After their first record released on Record Heaven / Transubstans Records, in December 2016 the trio - called Serpent up until then - shed its snake skin, re-named to Nekromant and last year released its new band debut 'Snakes & Liars'. With their new, crips and vibrant LP 'The Nekromant Lives' in the trunk - released on Ripple Music - the necromancers maintain the metallic luster - continuing the saga of proto-drenched Doom forged by Heavy Metal riffs, brooding solos and pile driving rhythm!
We're psyched to bring back the mighty Nekromant to our flag - being more ready than ever to bring their riffs out to the black velvet mass!
