A lot of acts were in town for the MTV Awards, so MTV shot a lot of content. Sammy did MTV University, where he read a driver's ED manual. ED made an appearance. This would mark the first official sighting of Sam and Ed together in a public place. The show also featured the Ramones and Dee Snider - Considered Lost Media.
