Concert Details

Date:
Saturday, October 21, 2017
Venue:
Hope Estate
Location:
Pokolbin, New South Wales, Australia
Notes:

This was probably the highlight of the tour so far, Ash Gruwald hit the stage with the bass and drummer from the Living End and put on a mighty fine blues set, really very good we thought. Then Bird of Tokyo hit the stage and the skies cleared and they were very good sending out all the love and hits they are well known for...
Then the stage was set for the Oils to GO OFF!! 20,000 plus fans just went nuts and I think thats what drove the oils to perform like it was there last ever gig, just tight, passionate, brilliant, powerful and again, they left nothing in the tank and everyone begging for more. What a beautiful setting for the greatest band ever..!!!
Ange picked us all up in the car and we stayed at Ange and Bruna's place, rang Macca on Sunday morning ABC to give my report from the moshpit, TOP Weekend...
