First Metallica show, wasn't bad especially considering the album for which they were touring.

Not being familiar with their dumb stunts, 15 year old me was pretty freaked out when the lighting began "collapsing" & santa fell from the rafters, a rope around his ankle. Don't recall how long he was swinging there, however that bs took up at least 30 mins.

Corrosion of Conformity fn kicked a** as usual. James came out for Wiseblood.

Almost went backstage as a classmate, Steph, her father was the promoter & invited me back. To my utter shock, the two idiots I was with said no "We have a curfew".
That chic was cute too, wtf. Could've partied with her, Metallica & C.O.C., but noooo.
Last time I let some knuckleheads stop me from heading backstage, including security.

My mom had to get the tickets for me at Filene's in the old Naugatuck Valley Mall, lucky I got tix because they were gone in 3 minutes. Some sort of record was set with how fast they disappeared.

Imagine only paying $30 to see those clowns today, more like 20x that price for the okay seats I had.
