I had just purchased a used car ('85 VW Scirocco) and myself and 3 other buddies from TOW ANTI-TANK Missle Company drove from Camp Lejeune, Jacksonville NC to Fayetteville to Megadeth. Got pretty well smoked up and saw a great concert. Speed/Thrash was pretty obscure genre back then, very little/if any radio airplay. My buddies had NO IDEA what they were in for! Megadeth blew the roof off! The parking lot was full of ambulances afterwards from mosh pit/stage diving injuries. Needles to say Megadeth had 3 new fans and we had a blast!
