I was active US Air Force and came back to Tucson for a week leave. The first day back while visiting a friend he asked if I wanted to work a concert (security) the next night. I said sure. It was Linda Ronstadt doing a special "coming home" concert as she hadn't played her home town in years. It was a big deal in Tucson. I guarded her dressing room and spent 15 minutes taking one on one with her. Great person. Treated me like we knew each other forever. When she went on stage, I was transferred to the front of the stage where I stood for the remainder of the concert. At one point Linda leaned down to shake hands with fans and used me to lean down for a few minutes. Overall a great night! And I got paid, imagine!
