Rafael surprised me with tickets to this show. He called Melissa and let her in on the surprise. i called him early in 1996 and asked if he had ever heard of her. He had not and I told him she would be huge. I had seen an access Austin video of her singing Who Will Save Your Soul and that voice floored me. The CD was released in 96 or 97 even though it says 95 on the sleeve. Immediately got radio play and the rest is history.
