Earlier in the day there was a rodeo held in the coliseum. The crowd for the concert in the evening was forced to sit on the same stinking dirt floor used by the rodeo earlier in the day. Grace Slick hit the stage and before any notes were played screamed out, 'Hey! Indianapolis smells like SHIT!' The crowd went crazy with laughter.
