Notes:

First off, fucking Des Moines traffic/McD's made me miss Annalibera. Now, Foxygen was awesome. Tight horns. Just a tight band, in general. Lead singer was his usual weirdness, alternating between threatening to quit and charismatic (maybe always charismatic but more charming than when he's angry).
They are entertaining. Denim coat with shorts; Bold. Crowd seemed to dig em.
Fucking phenomenal. Production is fantastic (like an equalizer). Band sounds great. I'd definitely see them again. Like Blue Man Group meets shoegaze. Too many talkers - and smokers. I wonder how they - and others like XX - will keep their sound fresh.
