I played in this concert as the drummer of the opening band Roll-N-Thunder. Next in line was Foghat, followed by Nazareth and last Steppenwolf. back stage was a frenzy of a party where all bands kept their green room doors wide open so everyone could melt into a single wild event. I gave John Kay a ride to the gig as he always lagged behind the band bus a ways to avoid press. Roll-N-Thunder was offered tours by several after this concert. We later lost a key member of our band lead guitarist Darryl Embrey from alcohol poisong but not before we were able to open for Nazareth a second time the following April 1996 at KSHE 95's Real Rock Cafe at The Power House at Union Station in St Louis MO. Roll-N- Thunder released 4 full LPs. and were based in St Louis Missouri fronted by writer/guitarist Mike Lindemann
