Really fun show and the crowd was super into it. The band was a seven-piece with piano/synth, two guitars, bass, drums, a very effect laden trumpet, and Dan Bejar on vocals of course. Their sound was full and precise but they let the songs breathe and wander a bit and the crowd seemed to really relish those parts. They played mostly songs from their latest two albums (Have We Met and Labyrinthitis). I am not as familiar with those songs but they were great live. I love the Kaputt and Rubies albums so I was kind of hoping for more from those albums. While there were only two from Kaputt and two from Rubies, the show was still really great.
