Paul Rodgers is one of my favorite all time singers and it was a thrill to see him live and in fine voice. I remembered the show opened with a single spot light on Rodgers as he sat at a piano, dressed all in denim, white t-shirt and vest, and played "Bad Company". The whole show was a classy English rock show, with Mick Ralphs playing his tasteful guitar solos with grace. The sound was superb. The one special effect they used was mindblowing. As Simon Kirke started his drum solo, smoke filled the stage and the stage went black. But has Kirke played his solo what seemed like hundreds of laser beams shot all over the arena and over our heads in time with his beats. It seemed the lasers came from his sticks but it was more likely just from his drum riser. Just a great show.
