The first show by the band in this city since April 1983 on the Pyromania tour. It was the third time Def Leppard performed at the Met Center and first of three nights. The three Met Center shows were sold out three months in advance. The first time the band had played three sold out nights in a row at a US arena.
The only known playing of the Rolling Stone's song 'Brown Sugar' as the last encore song. Phil Collen later said this song didn't get much of a reaction from the crowd. 'Armageddon It' replaced 'Don't Shoot Shotgun' in a slightly mixed up setlist.
