A bit of U2 history was made during the concert on Nov 14th when Bono brought out Artist Armond Vaillancourt to graffiti U2’s stage backdrop in response to backlash in the media after Bono spray painted the artists sculpture Vaillancourt Fountain at Justin Herman Plaza in San Francisco 3 days earlier while performing a free midday “Save the Yuppies” concert.
