This one night-only-event features a premier performance by the incredible Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in the Opera House, followed by an evening soirée in the Nations Gallery. The Gala program will include Robert Battle’s sensuous duet Unfold with live vocals by acclaimed soprano Brandie Sutton, Kyle Abraham’s newest work Are You in Your Feelings?, and Alvin Ailey’s timeless masterpiece Revelations.
Proceeds support Ailey's local D.C. programs, including new works, Arts-In-Education activities, and scholarships to talented young dance students in the Washington area to attend The Ailey School in New York.
