I was in 7th grade and this was my first concert. We had just been let out of school for summer vacvation. Hence "Schools Out" was perfect.. Tickets were $3.50 or so.. We went down to floor near the rotating stage during the drum part of Ina gadda davida or however you spell it. I remember it as the last song but I see the setlist has it as the third to last song. Probably

I saw this concert in the round. Alice Cooper and his crew were wearing silver jump suits and until I saw an album cover the next day nobody could tell me they weren't a bunch of sexy women. Are seats we a long way back obviously. ha

I went to an Iron Butterfly concert there in 1969 and to an Alice Cooper concert there in 1969. These were two entirely separate events. The Iron Butterfly concert had auditorium floor seating (no chairs). The In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida drum solo was roughly 20 minutes...awesome. At the Alice Cooper event I sat in the nose bleed section, smelled pot for the first time, thought it was alfalfa hay burning...I was from the farm. I had never heard of Alice Cooper, thought he was a she, until I heard him sing.
I never saw them play together, so I'm doubting the correctness of this joint concert.
