Snuck backstage after the show. Slipped in a door at coat check and bummed into Nigel Tufnel & Derrick Smalls of Spinal Tap and hung out with them the rest of the night.
Karen from Over the Rhine started talking to us and she was an absolute sweetheart! She was still single at the time and I could kill myself for just standing there with my mouth open and tongue tied. I've thought of a million things I could have said to prolong our meeting. Anyway, at around 2:00 they kicked everyone out. We left with Nigel & Derrick and they were fans just like us. Really cool regular guys with a good sense of humor.
When we got in our car to leave we yelled to guys "Thank you, Cleveland!"
One of my favorite shows of all time!
