In 1998, at the 13th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, The Mamas & the Papas, Lloyd Price, Santana, and Gene Vincent were inducted as Performers. Jelly Roll was inducted as an Early Influence, and Allen Toussaint as a Non-Performer. Despite a strict rule against allowing past members to perform with the current line-up, all seven past and then-present members of the Eagles reunited to accept their induction and perform early hits "Take It Easy" and "Hotel California." Additionally, all three living members of The Mamas & the Papas showed up to perform "California Dreamin'." This was the first and last time the band reunited since 1971. Lastly, while Peter Green was inducted with Fleetwood Mac, he didn't perform with the band. Instead, he joined Santana on "Black Magic Woman," a song written by Green originally written for Fleetwood Mac but popularized by Santana.
