Fun fact about this day. Van Halen almost ended because of my mother. She nearly ran David Lee Roth over in the Thomas & Mac parking lot. He was riding a mountain bike outside the venue and she nearly ran him over in a 1983 Datsun pickup truck. He called my mother a stupid bitch and said she almost killed him and my mother melted. haha! But great news! He didn't die! My mom felt bad. Awesome concert for us, Dave also got hit in the eye from someone tossing shit at him on stage. Nearly ended the show again. Not a good night for Diamond Dave. But a kick ass show did finally go on and it kicked ass!
