I was there after going to the gym. It rained. The guys in the band were talking about how they used to be at the Auto bar a lot and they liked it that the backstage had been upgraded during Covid. They were also scratching up the dollars from their buddies car.
They started in 1970. So today the band is 5 years older than me. I’m 46. So KW is 51/52ish. I first saw them when the band was 35ish in 2005.
Bass rumble! Sounded perfect.

I remember the vandals especially were crazy because the mutant boy had stripped off most of his clothing and had climbed up super high. Like dangerously high. But he was still ripping these solos and playing the music in such a spectacular way. I also remember that the sun felt like it was about 1 inch above my face. At the time I worked at KGMB9 news and the reason I went to this concert was because the Bosstones.
