I was standing right up against the stage. Arthur Brown lit his hair on fire and ran back and forth in front of me. That wasn't the most exciting part of the show. Pete Townshend smashed his guitar just a few feet in front of me and I had to dive down below the edge of the stage to keep from being hit by the schrapnel. Looking back, I wish I'd kept a piece of it.
