Deadman Flats Concert History

Deadman Flats arose from the salt mining town of Hutchinson Kansas out of the drunken smoke filled basements of their high school homes. After moving to Lawrence Kansas, Alex Law, Matt Stambaugh, and Hank Osterhout, began playing the bar circuit as a three piece before Mike Helvy, a local banjo folk hero joined up. With their first album, "Antlers," the band opened for many great acts such as Hackensaw Boys, Split Lip Rayfield, Oakhurst, and even WAR.
