Charlie Siem is one of the brightest young stars in classical music. Born in London to a Norwegian father and British mother, Charlie began to play the violin at the age of three after hearing a broadcast of Yehudi Menuhin playing Beethoven’s Violin Concerto. Charlie read music at Girton College, Cambridge from 2006 to 2009. From 1998 to 2004 he furthered his violin studies with Itzhak Rashkovsky and from 2004 with Shlomo Mintz.
