Originally from Philadelphia, Charlie Belle is an indie-pop U -18 band, based in Austin TX. Their popularity grew after being featured in USA Today's Pop Candy column which highlighted their rendition of the song Strange Powers for the promotion of the documentary Strange Powers: Stephin Merritt and the Magnetic Fields that they recorded in 2009.
