Janelle Monáe was AWESOME. A kind stranger hooked me up with a 5th row ticket as I walking in. 'Pynk' was simply transcendent. Her outfits and dancers were killer and I dug the whole style and vibe. Set closer 'Tightrope' was also ACE. But what impressed me the most was every now and then for a quick second she'd pull these highly exaggerated, super-animated - to the point of cartoony - faces which were just rad and hilarious. She's just supercool. And as she said at one point in the encore "In this cold, cold world, we have to keep fighting for love."
