The beauty of Glen Hansard's performances is not only that each one is different from the others, but also that within the same evening, you experience at least three or four different concerts.
Last night, in the comfortable and pleasant setting of Milan's Dal Verme, our good Glen - in physical shape like we haven't seen in ten years - treated us to two hours and thirty-five minutes of intensity and emotions: no breaks, no encores, just consistently high-quality music.
Considering the partial presence of The Frames, I would say that, in a wonderful setlist, only Lies and Gold (especially Gold) were missing, but the wall of sound, combined with intimate moments, more than justified the ticket price, which was not excessive. Rating: 9.
