Crazy Day 3 at Boston Calling. They massively oversold tix so it was totally packed. But still managed to have a good time! Started with Stefan thev - sort of rap-rock. Couple good songs - 2/5 the heavy heavy were on the stage next door but could hear pretty well - once again a couple good songs but overall too country - 2/5 Royel Otis was fantastic - their cover of "murder on the dance floor" had blown up so it was pretty packed. They aren't great performers and the lyrics are a bit hard to understand . But the beat is totally infectious - great dance show - 4/5 Chappel Roan was on next door stage and she sounded great - some great dance songs and some solid pop - 3.5/5 Revivalists were outstanding. The singer is a magnetic performer and the songs are great sing along - 4.5/5 Couldn't find Jack & Jesi due to no cell service then somehow bumped into them in a crowd of 40k folks! We ironically had a great time at Megan Thee Stallion - a great beat with stupid lyrics but we had fun - 2/5 Got a good spot for the killers despite the crowd - right behind GA barricade. Killers were once again outstanding. Very different experience than the night before - much less satisfying not being surrounded by super fans, but so much fun to sing the hits with Jack & Jesi - 5/5
