Der Checker, born Thomas Karaoglan (20 march 1993), is a German singer. Karaoglan participated in the seventh season of the German casting show 'Deutschland Sucht den Superstar' where he ended in fifth place. After Deutschland Sucht den Superstar Karaoglan released a fairly succesful single called 'Checker der Vollstrecker' and participated in television shows as 'Let's Dance' and 'Die Alm'. He is currently still active as a singer and tv personality.
