We parked 4 blocks away, $50 for parking! It was a little cold but not real bad. It was Lauren’s and Savanah’s first concert. This was the first time any of us were at The Met. It’s a really nice place. We didn’t wait long to get in. It was packed. We went upstairs to the lounge for a bit. The food and drinks were very expensive. $15 can beer, $9 popcorn. Soon we went in to get our seats. There was a guy dressed as a banana wondered around. The seats were ok, only one row in front of us and then the aisle. The show started around 9:00. They sounded great, there was a huge light up boognish on the stage. It was a great show, there was a girl on the right side of the staging signing, I’m sure that was a challenge considering the music. The played Tear For Eddie, it was a great version with extended Dean playing. It was the first time we heard it in concert. They played a wide variety and even a couple we didn’t know. Lauren and Savanah enjoyed the experience. I picked up a poster that was one of 2 made for the show, signed by the band. I’ll have to get that framed.
