Jimmy Peggie is a Scottish sound artist and photographer based in Phoenix, Arizona – whose output is centered around the re-contextualization of organic sounds (location recordings, radio frequencies, decaying textures) and integrating them using electronic processing methods. His sonic work is focused on micro recording, digital tape manipulation and sound collage. He uses static and moving images to enhance installations.
