This was most likely the last show NFG and YC will ever play at The Masquerade so it was very special for both bands since they've been playing there throughout their entire careers. This was my first time seeing Tiger Jaw and they were solid. Getting to hear The Sun, Plane vs Tank vs Submarine, and I Saw Water was great. You could tell right off the bat that this crowd was gonna be special since there were crowd surfers and stage divers from the first note of the show. The crowd went absolutely nuts for Yellowcard. Easily the best reaction I've ever seen them get. The crowd didn't stop moving the entire set and during Awakening and Crash the Gates they were deafeningly loud. The crowd kept the energy up for NFG especially for Understatement and Hit or Miss. The crowd got a little gassed after like 10 songs but was still pretty energetic compared to most crowds. Set highlights would be hearing Failure's Not Flattering and It's Been a Summer for the first time also NFG pulled a fan, who had been seeing them at the masquerade for 18 years, and he got to request they play Captain Straight Edge for Edge day.
