War Of Destruction was formed by guitarist Dan "Donny" Sørensen, vocalist Hans Simonsen, bassist Jan "Key" Hansen and drummer Steen Thomsen in the summer of 1981 in Århus, Denmark, the main inspiration being Discharge. A few weeks after forming, they decided to release a tape, which was followed by two more a year later, as an effort to raise money for their first vinyl record.
