After departing from LowSunday, guitarist Scott Bedillion and bassist Marc Turina joined up with Frank Postava (percussion) and Terry Divelbliss (keyboards), forming a new group whose sound didn't depart much from the post-punk/new wave style of their previous ensemble. Seven Color Sky made their live debut in September of 2002 at Zythos, a local venue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Nearly a year later, the group would release the "Bliss" EP.
