Marten de Paepe plays songs on the verge of folk and pop. He plays small, intimate songs next to more powerful work with a four-piece band. De Paepe’s music is being made with the least of means. He knows less is more and gives all room to vocals and guitars. De Paepe plays with one foot in tradition and one foot in the present. He doesn’t lose touch with the present day and plays his songs in an old fashioned, yet contemporary way.
