Island Line started writing songs in early 2007.Back then just two of them, the songs came around the kitchen table, and were recorded at home. By the time they were offered a gig at Glastonbury (2007), they had rehearsed up a set of songs as a band. Since then they have been playing shows around London regularly as a band and developing their sound.
