Born and raised in Southern California, Greenery was born as Ryan Geoffry Greenberg. As a solo artist he never shows his real face. He self taught himself to play the bass at the age of 12 and within 8 years has learned drums, keyboard, guitar, flute, and trombone. His influences are quite wide ranged, some include; Tom Waits, Radiohead, Modest Mouse, Yeah Yeah Yeahs. His music genre is quite ranged, one song may sound like electronica and the next industrial rock.
