We were born out of boredom originating during our college years in Northern VA. Drake got us all together, and then he broke a tooth and he left the band. We couldn't decide on being called "Dance Dance Fuck" or "el Capitan", so we decided to combine them, one sunny afternoon at Chow Hall, GMU. Adam didn't know how to play bass at the time, he still doesn't. We played our first at George Mason, Fairfax VA. The Resident Director walked out within 30 seconds.
