Alex Brown (full name: Alexandra Louise Brown) was a soul / disco singer, songwriter and producer from the Philadelphia area of the United States. She has done a lot of session work as a backing vocalist with artists like Stevie Wonder and Diana Ross. She's also co-writer of Anita Baker's 1988 song 'Just Because'.
